There is a certainty,
That every restaurant is busy
About lunch time,
Earning much more than a dime.
The servers with their “thank you” and “please,”
Working like drone bees,
Going fro and to,
Their pattern askew.
The clock strikes one,
The lunch hour’s done.
The dining room bare,
Clean up is in the air.
