Teddy bears, Tulips & Tears

I am watching the T.V.,
But it’s almost like I am there,
The marvel of television.
Has it really been a year?
The rumble of cement and wires is gone.
No more trampled toys
Or victims
To dig out.
Now an empty shell of a basement
And a tree remains.
The grass is green where
The mighty building
Toppled,
But not in the minds and souls still locked here
The world is with those
Here.
It has been so long,
Yet I can hear children’s cry.
Three minutes and prayers are
Centered in this corner of the earth.
A silence with so much to say,
You are not forgotten
You have made a difference,
Stopping the world
To pay respect to you.
Life was shaken by your deaths,
A wake up call
It starts over from the roots
Out of the charred grounds
Of this war torn plaza
We will not forget,
God bless you.

Keeping
Life renewed.
Healthy for the
Masses.
